第三课时(sound time & cartoon time

【教学目标】

1. 学生能够正确掌握字母i在单词中的读音,并能依据发音规律读准简单词汇;

2. 学生能够听、说、理解“hurt”和“What’s the matter?”;

3. 学生能够看懂Cartoon time的小故事,会心一笑,并大胆地表演出来;

4. 学生学完卡通和绘本故事后能够发现美,欣赏美,感知Meeting new friends makes us happy.Helping others makes us happy too.感知生活中的快乐无处不在。

【教学重点】

1.学生能够正确掌握字母i在单词中的读音,并能依据发音规律读准简单词汇。

2.学生能够看懂Cartoon time的小故事,会心一笑并大胆地表演出来。

【教学难点

学生学完卡通和绘本故事后能够感知Meeting new friends makes us happy.Helping others makes us happy too.感知生活中的快乐无处不在。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming-up

To know me.

Game rule : If you are the same with me, please clap hands and say Me, too.

(Teach: hand, hands)

T: I can play basketball. I like summer. I like eating ice creams.

  I like eating fish. Who likes eating fish too?

S: Sam.

Step 2 Presentation

Sound time

Lets guess: What can Sam do before eating fish?

Listen and finishworksheet

Before eating fish, Lets ____________ to some ____________.

T: Lets check the answers. Follow the tape and repeat.

Think and say.

T: What does i say here? Do you know other words? 

  In Unit5, we know i says /aI/. Lets read the chant.

字母 很可爱,/aI/ , /aI/ , /aI/ , Mike, like 和 kite

 Cartoon time

1. Lets talk: Where will Sam and Bobby go? What can they see there? 

  Ss: They will go to the party. They can see many animals.

2. Lets guess:What is it? Is it a ball? How do you know?

Ss: Yes. It can move./ No. It has spikes.

3. Read and complete.(读图一图二,完成填空worksheet)

T: What do Sam and Bobby say?

Bobby thinks it’s a _______. Sam thinks it’s a_______too.

T: Bobby thinks its a ball. How do you know? What about Sam?

4. Watch and find: What happened?

Ss: 感到疼痛。(Tips:图文结合,理解生词含义)

T: What makes Bobby hurt? (放大图片,teach: sharp spikes)

TWhat does Sam say? So, Sam cares Bobby very much.

(Teach:Whats the matter? Tips:关心朋友进行询问,还可以用What's wrong with you? What's up to you?)

T: So, is it a ball? No. Its a ?(Teach: hedgehog) 

5. Lets watch.(Know more about hedgehog.)

6. Read and imitate.

7. Lets read in roles.

8. Act in roles.

9. Think and say: How do they feel? Why?

Ss: Sam and the hedgehog are happy. They make new friends. Bobby is not happy. But he is friendly.

T: Yes. Meeting new friends makes us happy. Now theyre good friends. Theyll go the party together. They may meet more new friends there.

Step 3 Consolidation

Picture book: Animals spring dress party

1. Skim and find: Who do they meet?(worksheet)

Ss: Camel, Hen and Giraffe.

2. Lets read: Whose clothes are these?

Ss: The hats are the camels. The dress is Sams. The ...

3. Think and say.

T: How is the party? What do you think of their clothes? Good or not so good? Why?

Ss: The party is funny. Camels hats are... Sams dress is ...

T: Maybe their clothes are not so good. But they are very happy. This dress party is just for fun. Except the hedgehog. He is crying. He has no clothes for the party. How to help him?

Ss: The camel/hen/giraffe can... Bobby/Sam can...

4. Complete and act.(worksheet)

T: I like your ideas. Now lets work in groups.

  Who wants to act? Great! Everyone is happy. What makes us happy? Yes, helping others makes us happy too. I hope you can be happy every day.

Step 4 Homework

To read: 本单元 Sound time Cartoon time和绘本故事内容。

To collect: 含有 i / I / 发音的单词。

To write: 完成作业单上的练习。
